Background
I started my career in specialty retail. Specifically snow sports & skateboarding, then the outdoor space. From building brick and mortar from the ground up to managing a national fashion brands storefront in L.A., I have been a buyer, sales associate and manager. I was plucked out of retail and into the agency side where I spent a decade with agencies from Philadelphia to Bozeman.
Eventually I was recruited to the client side via Orvis, the world’s most iconic fly-fishing brand and one of the first direct marketing brands that jumped in early on e-commerce. Initially hired to lead online business development through partnerships with the likes of Barbour and Clarks Footwear, I was promoted to head up the global merchandising team serving the U.S. and U.K. A call from Black Diamond Equipment’s Founder several years later offered me the opportunity to engage with another renowned leadership team and launch a new channel of sales for the world’s largest climbing brand. Five years at BD and a run as the global VP of E-Commerce led me to OGIO/Callaway then to my last in-house stop via Easton Baseball and Bauer Hockey. This journey offered the chance to build the direct-to-consumer channel across a wide variety of brands and technologies (including multiple Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify sites).
The end result led me to the present and my own practice, Blueprint E-Commerce. For the last 8 years, I have provided an end-to-end perspective for a small group of clients looking to establish or deepen the 1:1 relationship with the customer.
